    Hey,

Does anybody remember a childrens character the Pickarooney? It came up in a drunken wobble down memory lane the other night and it’s really been bugging me since! The only shows I can think of are Forty Coats, Wanderly Wagon, Worzel Gummidge, Pajo’s Junkbox and Bosco – and not sure if it was any of the above. Any ideas????

The Pickarooney and Slightly Bonkers were both characters on Forty Coats.

The Pickarooney was the bizarre hobo-type character who kept saying “I’m the Pickarooney”

Slightly Bonkers was the girl in the Flying Sweetshop with Forty Coats….her mother and father were called Totally and Absolutely)The slightly gay character was the fella in the Sweetshop….SoFar SoGood.
