Dogbowl Design 2

In the last prank dogbowl letter, I had sent a proposed advert for the project to the IDA. Here is the reply that I got. The second paragraph is a cracker: >>>

Letter from the IDA

Dear Mr Mackay,

Thank you for your recent letter. I am delighted to see work continuing on the idea. I would be pleased to meet you at your convenience. As I do not have a telephone number for you, could you call me to set up a meeting?

It is important, if you are seeking grant aid for a feasibility study, to talk to us and get grant approval before spending any money which might be claimed under a feasibility study grant.

In regard to your queries on the current size of the Irish market you should contact An Bord Trachtala and they may be able to help, otherwise, it will be a question of talking to distributors and agents or relevant trade bodies to ascertain the figures.

In relation to trade and media adverts, perhaps the library in An Bord Trachtala would have magazines carrying suitable advertisements.

Once again, please contact me as soon as possible to arrange a meeting.

Yours sincerely,
Colm MacFhionnlaoich,
Manager, Small Business Division,

So, now the IDA have ensnared Bord Trachtala in this web of nonsense. I’ll put up the letter I sent to them in a few days time.
